Paradise Yurts
Located on our 14 acre property’s river bench, our brand new Shelter Designs yurts paired with our renovated gable + shed style barn allow for a memorable luxury glamping experience in the heart of the Paradise Valley. Our three yurts were thoughtfully designed to allow for primo privacy and views towards the state land and river beyond.
The yurts are accessed by a short walking path from the barn parking area. Hand wagons are available for transport of luggage if needed. Please note, there are stairs in and out of the yurts and a small hill on the gravel pathway. No vehicles may drive on the pathway.
The pathway is lighted with solar lights at night and connects with a lower stairway at the Tower House for full connectivity between properties if desired. Note – there is no plumbing in the yurts – a short trail must be taken to the barn from each yurt for bathroom amenities.
Constructed on elevated platforms, each yurt is 16’ in diameter and features two glass windows per structure and a full light fiberglass front door. Glass storm doors with screen inserts allow for extra cross ventilation. Insulated walls and solid lattice work keep the yurts very quiet and stable in windy conditions. A ‘moon dome’ graces the top of each yurt, allowing for stargazing from the comfort of your bed.
The yurts have lights, power, wifi access through our mesh network, wall heaters and heated dual control mattress covers for chilly nights. Yurts have fans for warm summer days (it cools quickly at night) and windows are operational.
All yurt windows have full privacy window coverings.
Each yurt features a queen-sized bed with cozy pillows and linens, a desk work station, a closet rod and storage shelves and a small couch.
The heated barn was renovated in 2021 and features a shared fully amenitized modern kitchen (shared between the yurt spaces and caretaker) with refrigerator with ice maker, gas range with outdoor vented hood, microwave, coffee/tea station, cooking pots/pans and utensils, a commercial sink and dining service for 8.
